Service Graphics Rebrand

Rebranding the Branding Experts

"I need a new brand by next week's board meeting and it needs to be rolled out across 24 individually designed branches and 5 plants in 3 months. Oh, yes - and a website as well."

In fairness, when John Eager asked us to do this, he did tell us that the brand name had been agreed. And he did acknowledge that it was a big ask. So we were all very pleased when we not only achieved this, but when it went down exceedingly well as well.

New logo, visual identity & brand guidelines

The new brand was resulting from the purchase of a company and the integration of elements of both companies, while also acknowledging the industry they were operating in. A bright start one week in, as the board approved our approach.

External and Interior Signage

For a company that specialised in signage, this couldn't be anything but excellent, with real standout on the street and when the customers crossed the threshold.

One thing we really wanted to achieve was clearly communicating to the passer-by what we did. The bright circles saying 'Print', 'Design', 'Digital' and decal with 'Everything Print & Design' very clearly hit the mark.

Interior Design x 24+5

Each of the 24 branches and 5 factories required an individual layout and design solution.

Vans, Uniforms & Stuff

We extended the bright and colourful approach to the the fleet of vans, using a variety of the brand colours to make a real impression on the street.

There was also a range of merchandise including uniforms - hoodies and tee shirts - bags and mugs , in order to present a comprehensively fresh face to customers.

what
the client thought

“When Paragon Group purchased Service Graphics, a large format print business, to augment and complement our existing Service Point UK retail print and design business, it created the UK’s largest integrated supplier of print, design and display services. But we were faced with a decision on how to brand this combined entity. Our existing Service Point brand was tired and not delivering on the high street.

We hired Adrian O’Farrell of Juice Marketing to create a new brand for the combined entity and to manage the implementation of the rebrand process. Time pressure meant there were only two weeks for Juice to present a new logo and identity, which was successfully approved by the Board. Adrian then worked with and managed our internal resources across both business units to create brand positioning statements, a guidelines document, exterior and interior branch designs, a combined website, product and sector sheets, merchandise, packaging and PR – the full rollout taking less than 5 months.

Our new brand is bright, fresh, colourful
, contemporary and highly visible on the high street. It also credibly positions Service Graphics to sell graphic design – a new service within our offering. The rebrand has been enthusiastically received by our staff and customers and gives us the platform we need to fully exploit the potential of this new brand in the UK business-to-business market.

Adrian managed a complex and multi-layered process with aplomb, demonstrating strategic understanding, great visual and written creativity, sensitively working with our internal teams and all with an ability to generate enthusiasm amongst our branch management, while meeting deadlines.”
